Who is The Ezy Filter?
We are a family run small business. We provide direct replacement air conditioner filters for households. Our airconditioning filters provide a quick and easy replacement solution.
We understand how difficult it can be to find the correct size AC filters for your ducted air conditioner so we provide our service of custom made AC filter sizes when you cant find it in our standard size list.

How do i know what size air conditioner filter I need?
Remove your existing aircon filter from your air return grill. Measure the outside edge of the frame. You need both the length and width in millimeters (mm). Look at our product page of air conditioner filter - Standard Size for the size you require. You can also read our 'What size air conditioner filter do i need' blog post to help.
My air conditioner filter isn't in your Standard Size list?
Not a problem. This is where our air conditioner filter - custom size page becomes useful. Please provide us with your aircon filter size you need in the purchase order page of the air conditioner filter - custom size and we will make it.
My aircon filter has a hole in the filter frame?
This hole or holes is for a locking screw/pin. If you require a hole in your aircon filter frame please let us know on the purchase order page (you'll see the drop down menu for this) and we will put a hole in for you at no extra charge.
What air conditioner filter material do you use?
We use an Australia Standard Approved aircon filter media. It is a washable G2 rating material. G2 is suitable in applications such as room air conditioning filters, domestic ducted heating and cooling, return air grill filters. Which way does my air conditioning filter face when installed?
There isn't a right or wrong way the filter needs to face when installed. If you have purchased one of our air conditioner filter products then our personal preference is to have the aircon filter label facing you when your aircon filter is installed. This allows quick and easy identification of your filter size, date installed and where you can re-order your next one.
Why is my air conditioning filter label missing the date?
This date is the AC filter date that you installed your aircon filter replacement. Its for you to write onto when you have installed the AC filter into you air conditioning filter system. It allows you to remember when it was installed and when you may need to replace the material or for ease the complete air conditioner filter from us.
When should i replace my air conditioner filter?
Rule of thumb is to have your filter replaced annually but wash it every 1-3 months. However, there are exceptions to this. It really depends on how often you run your air conditioner filter system, how dusty the environment is and the condition of the material. With these factors in mind your aircon filter may need to be replaced earlier. Regularly cleaning of your aircon filter may help increase its life but even after cleaning there will still be dust particles that wasn't removed. Over time the efficiency of the aircon filter will decrease and will result in needing to replace it.
Does your air conditioning filters fit all brands
All our air conditioner filters are generic which means they will fit into most air return grills. All our frame thicknesses is 9mm. So they will fit Daikin, Mitsubishi, Actron, Samsung systems. We haven't yet had a air return grill we couldn't fit. Any questions or enquires please feel free to contact us.
